1 Day Departure from your hotel in Rome to discover the eternal city. We will visit the basilica of St. Peter and the Vatican Museums, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. In the afternoon we will visit Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain and finally, before returning to the hotel, you will have some free time for shopping. 2 Day Transfer from Rome to the city of Siena. On the way we will stop to visit the town of Assisi, with the basilica of St. Frances and the famous frescoes by Giotto; after lunch we will carry on to the Etruscan town of Cortona and late in the afternoon we will reach the city of Siena, where you will stay overnight. 3 Day Visit to the city of Siena: Church of San Domenico, cathedral, Torre del Mangia with lunch in the picturesque Piazza del Campo. The tour will then carry on to the Medieval town of San Gimignano, with its famous towers and charming old centre. We will reach Florence in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo. 4 Day Visit to the city of Florence with its unique artistic treasures: Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery and the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the possibility of doing a little shopping in the designer fashion stores. 5 Day From Florence transfer to Cinque Terre, stopping on the way to visit Lucca with its characteristic walls. We will then continue to Pisa, arriving in Piazza dei Miracoli to admire the famous leaning tower and the adjacent cathedral. Arrival in the early evening at Cinque Terre; we suggest Santa Margherita Ligure for your overnight stay. 6 Day Visit to Cinque Terre; driving along scenic routes we will visit the medieval towns perched on cliffs overlooking the sea. We will leave from Riomaggiore and carry on to discover Menarola, Vernazza and Montoresso. Dinner will be in Portofino. 7 Day Transfer from Cinque Terre to Milan. On the way we will visit the coloured town of Camogli; arrival in the centre of Milan and visit to the cathedral and shopping streets; you will then be dropped either at your hotel or at the airport. » Back | ||
