Departure after breakfast from your villa/hotel for a journey through history, nature and handicraft. The first stop will be Orvieto, a unique city for its combination of nature and art. Visit to the highest part of Orvieto where the Cathedral square; after the visit to the Gothic cathedral you can stroll along the streets and admire the typical tuff houses. You will then reach Saint Patrick’s well, a unique work of art in its genre. After lunch in one of the many typical restaurants the tours will take you to Todi, birth place of the famous medieval poet Jacopone da Todi. Walking along the town streets one can admire the beautiful monuments of the Tempio di Santa Maria della Consolazione or Palazzo del Popolo with its square overlooking the beautiful Umbrian countryside. And finally a visit to Deruta where we will stop in the various Ceramics (Maiolica) workshops to see Umbrian artisans at work, producing and decorating.
